Once Colin Street Day Surgery has received your Pre-admission Booklet, our reception staff will check your eligibility status with your health fund. It is your responsibilityto understand what level of cover you have. However, if there are any gaps to be paid, we will contact you prior to admission to advise you of the amount outstanding.
Apart from this, all accounts are sent directly to your health fund. All information provided to you with regards to cost will be documented on our Informed Financial Consent form. You will need to sign this on the day of admission. Any monies owed can be paid by credit card or EFTPOS. Cheques ARE NOT accepted unless arranged prior to admission
All patients are welcome here at Colin Street Day Surgery. You will be provided with a fee estimate prior to surgery. If you accept this fee you will need to sign our Informed Financial Consent form on the day of admission.
All fees outstanding must be paid on the day of admission. Colin Street Day Surgery accepts all credit cards and EFTPOS facilities are available for ease of payment. Cheques ARE NOT accepted unless prior arrangements have been made.
Colin Street Day Surgery is now able to provide day procedure services to entitled persons without the need for your Doctor to obtain prior financial authorization. All accounts are sent directly to the Dept of Veteran’s Affairs and all information regarding fees will be documented and provided to you on our Informed Financial Consent form.

Colin Street Day Surgery fees are separate to your surgeon and anaesthetist fees.
